Bringing the Social Back Into Social Media
About FRIENDS™ Check In
FRIENDS™ Check In was created to encourage real engagement, meaningful connection, and intentional check-ins in a digital world where too many people scroll silently, watch from a distance, and look without ever saying hello.
This platform exists to help people connect, acknowledge one another, participate in conversations, support each other, and create a stronger sense of real social community online.
At its core, FRIENDS™ Check In is about one simple belief: People should not just be seen online. They should be acknowledged, remembered, and checked on.

Founder, FRIENDS™ Check In
Founded by Michaëlle Daceus
Michaëlle Daceus founded FRIENDS™ Check In to create a more human-centered way for people to connect online. Her vision is to build a platform where members are encouraged to participate, engage, check in, support one another, and use social media for real connection instead of passive observation.
Through FRIENDS™ Check In, Michaëlle is developing a community ecosystem that includes social engagement, live conversations, local ambassadors, creator partnerships, sponsor perks to members, audience recognition, and branded community experiences.
Mission Statement
Our Mission
To create a real social community where members connect, engage, check in, participate, and build meaningful online relationships through conversations, local representation, live shows, creator partnerships, audience recognition, and community-centered experiences.
Vision Statement
Our Vision
To become a national and eventually global social engagement platform where people, towns, cities, creators, sponsors, and audiences come together through meaningful connection and visible participation.
Don’t Just Lurk. Check In.
FRIENDS™ Check In is for people who believe social media should be more than silent watching.
✦ It is about saying hello.
✦ It is about commenting with care.
✦ It is about checking on someone.
✦ It is about celebrating people.
✦ It is about showing up with sincerity.
✦ It is about turning online visibility into a real connection.
The goal is not to shame people for scrolling. The goal is to encourage better social habits; habits that make people feel seen, supported, and remembered.
